    Additional Examination Rights For Last Semester Students (Undergraduate and Graduate Students)

    Who are Last Semester Students?

    Students who are successful in the courses that they take in the semester they are registered to and in the courses that they have failed earlier but finished successfully by using the examination rights and the students who comply with the conditions to take a diploma are considered to be last semester students.     Who can benefit from additional examination rights?

    1. Students, who cannot meet the graduation requirements because they scored FF, FD, Fail in two courses the most, will qualify to take an additional exam without having to repeat these courses for one time only.
    2. Students, who cannot obtain the minimum grade point average of 2.00 required for graduation even they succeed in all of the courses, will qualify to take an additional exam for two of the courses they will choose among the courses they have taken previously.
    3. The right to an additional examination is granted to a student once.

    When are the additional examinations offered?

    The dates of the additional examinations that will be offered at the end of each semester take place in the Academic Calendar.

    Who cannot take additional examination?

    • Students who have courses that she/he has not registered,
    • Students with (NA) Non-attendance grade,
    • Students who have taken additional examination once.

    Which courses do not have additional examination?

    Accepted by the Senate upon the recommendation of the relevant faculty/college/vocational school board; additional exams cannot be made for courses where success evaluation is spread throughout the process, such as performance, project, homework, thesis, portfolio.
