INTER-INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFER (Transfers from Universities Abroad)
(1) Students, who have completed at least two semesters (1 year) in undergraduate programs, and at least one semester in associate programs at domestic higher education institutions or higher education institutions abroad, excluding the foreign language preparatory class, can apply for inter-institutional transfer based on cumulative grade point average. In Faculty of Medicine, inter-institutional transfer is allowed only at the beginning of the academic year.
a) is not accepted in between semesters of the undergraduate programs.
b) is not accepted to the first two and last two semesters of the undergraduate programs.
c) is accepted at the beginning of academic years only in undergraduate programs (3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th semesters).
ç) is not accepted to the first and last semester of the associate programs.
d) is accepted in 2nd and 3rd semesters only in associate programs.
Application Evaluation Score (BDP)" is determined by including 60% of the candidate's overall grade point average and 40% of the candidate's ÖSYS/YKS score in the year the candidate registered to higher education in the score type of the program.

The candidates are ranked from the highest score to the lowest, based on the Candidate's Ranking Score.
a) Students must have taken the OSYS exam for the year they were accepted to the university abroad or in the previous year. Submitting other exam documents such as SAT, ACT, Abitur, Baccalaureate alone, without an OSYS exam result is not accepted.
b) Students must obtain the minimum placement score of the other domestic universities equivalent to the type of score of the relative program they want to apply for.
c) Students also need to meet the academic ranking requirement for the relative program specified by YOK, if applicable.

DEPARTMENTS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS ORDER
WHO CAN NOT TRANSFER?
- Prospective students, who enrolled to higher education institutions abroad (excluding higher education institutions in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) and the ones specified in OSYS Guide), cannot apply for transfer based on central placement score (within the scope of ADDITIONAL Article 1).
- Those, who took OSYS exam and got placed in a higher education institution in Turkey or in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, but did not enroll and started education at a higher education institution abroad with their own means, are not allowed to apply for transfer based on Central Placement Score (within the scope of Additional Article 1).
- Students who are suspended because of academic causes or disciplinary reprimands,
- Students who are being educated in a university that is not approved by Turkish Council of Higher Education or students who are not placed to the university according to the conditions determined by Turkish Council of Higher Education,
- Students, who are studying in or graduated from 2-year programs, cannot transfer to 4-year programs.
